Surgical Steel Barbell with Tribal Design

Surgical Steel Barbell with Design on one end. Available in uncoated (steel) and 24K Gold PVD coated versions and different sizes stem/length/ball (choose from the menu). The end with design has a 10mm diameter on all sizes.

Material: 316L Surgical Steel - We have chosen to use the stainless steel quality of 316L (known also as Surgical Stainless Steel) because of its unique quality compared to other metals.

The main characteristics of the 316L Stainless Steel are:
- It does not bend or break
- It never changes its colour
- It never tarnishes
- It is hypoallergenic, i.e. - does not have any allergic reactions
- It does not release nickel salts

PVD coating/coloring: Titanium and Titanium Nitride (Black), Real Gold (Gold) or Real Rose Gold Alloy (Rose Gold) is coated using a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process. The jewelry is coated in a heated chamber under high vacuum. Electric voltage applied will form a plasma in the chamber and the introduction of various gases produces an ion bombardment. This bombardment atomizes the cathode material into tiny substances which are deposited on the jewelry. The result is a hardened layer, which is biocompatible. It can be autoclaved.
