Trying to decide if you want to work with a cable for stable performance or choose wireless freedom? Just take both! ERA Gem is Cheyenne's first hybrid tattoo machine, which can switch between wired and wireless operation.
The choice of the operating mode also has an influence on the weight of the tattoo machine - choose the cable connector to make ERA Gem slightly lighter, or use the battery packs to add more weight to the back of the machine. The flexibility is all yours.
With its 3.0 mm stroke, the ERA Gem is the perfect tattoo machine for fineline tattoos, sensitive body parts and permanent makeup. It is lightweight and handy, created especially for petite artists and smaller hands.
This hybrid tattoo machine offers you even more comfort when it comes to set up and operation. The magnetic docking mechanism to attach the cable connector or battery pack is so seamless that covering the machine, changing the battery, or setting up the frequency will be the simplest thing.
The wired mode offers consistent power output, while the wireless mode provides mobility. The choice depends on your preference and working style.
Each battery pack has a working time of about 2 hours and can be easily charged with a USB-Cable. The battery packs have a LED light to indicate the remaining power level of each battery.
If you want to work with ERA Gem as a cabled machine, you need a tattoo power supply. We recommend using the Cheyenne PU2, however the machine can also be used with other tattoo power supplies with the cable adapter included in the machine set.

*Charge duration is subject to change depending on the used voltage, needle brand/size as well as environmental factors such as temperature etc. Please note that, like any Li-Ion battery, this battery will also wear down over time and capacity slowly gets lower causing working time to get shorter. This is normal wear over time and is not covered by warranty.
WARNING: As with other Cheyenne machines you should only use Cheyenne cartridges with the ERA Gem. The warranty will be voided if your machine is damaged due to using non-membrane cartridges. Also please remember; never try to lubricate your Cheyenne machine with oil or grease, this will void warranty as well. Please see manual for additional details.
